Mel White

During his professional career Mel White not only taught golf at the country clubs but he was teaching golf for the Vancouver School Board, the West Vancouver School Board, Seycove Community Centre and he was the Head Instructor at the Masters Golf Camp in Whistler from 1993-1994.

Mel White was also teaching at the Park Royal Golf Centre in West Vancouver from 1993 until 2002 when he joined the teaching staff of TAKaya Golf Centre.

• Low Pro at the Ogopogo Open at Kelowna Golf Club in 1951

• Winner of the Chilliwack Open in 1969

• Played in the British Open Qualifyng Round in 1981

• BCPGA Seniors Champion in 1982

• Honorary Life Member of Seymour Golf & Country Club since 1992
